# SmartNotch

> SmartNotch is a lifetime Windows desktop app by Abhinay Vundavilli (https://x.com/abhinay_v007). It pins a small notch to the top center of the screen for timers, tasks, notes, habits, and private dashboards. Website: https://smartnotch.lol/

SmartNotch is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The installer is a Windows .exe for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The app includes a 24-hour trial. When the trial ends, the app locks until a license key is activated. One key works on up to 2 PCs and does not expire.

## Price

The price has two steps, charged in USD by Dodo Payments:

- Licenses 1–50: $4.99
- License 51 onward: $8.99, and it stays there

A spot counts only after a signed payment webhook. The spots left are shown on https://smartnotch.lol/#buy

## Privacy

Tasks, notes, clipboard history, and API keys stay on the PC. SmartNotch does not sync them to a server. The website stores aggregate counts (visits, downloads, purchases) and a 30-day first-party cookie so refreshes are not new people. Card data is handled by Dodo Payments.
